Character Therapy

A perfectly crafted plot is designed around your character—to torture them, to push them to the hardest decisions they’ve ever made, to bring them to the brink and make them choose. To write that kind of gripping fiction, you need to deeply understand what makes your character work.

This five week course will take a deep dive into what makes your characters tick. We will use lectures, discussion, inspiration and writing exercises to challenge your understanding of your character and use that as the backbone of an outstanding novel.

What You’ll Receive:

• 5 weeks of material and assignments that you can go through at your own pace

• Access to the course for perpetuity

• 10 page critique on materials of your choosing (can be coursework or other)

• 30 minute live feedback session (can be used to discuss your submission or topic of your choice!)
